Vegetarian instant Ramen noodles – do they exist?
More and more I see so called “vegetal” ramen noodles containing “beef bone stock” and other animal-derived products. I’ve been vegetarian for a year and the most difficult part is not having my SPICY Shin Ramyun. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shin_ramyun) Apparently the US versions of this instant ramen contain meat while the original Korean versions don’t. The issue is I can’t travel to Korea and I don’t want to support animal slaughter by buying the products (plus the spicy flavoring containing the meat is what makes it good). So my question is, is there any actual Vegetarian Ramen out there available in the US? Any spicy kinds? I’ve tried to do some research but haven’t had much success.
