
my boyfriend’s health is in Danger ?
Im a vegan and I eat very healthy but for my boyfriend (also he smokes which I don’t approve of) he eats a lot of crap, he does go the gym with me. Then he had some health issues from the junk he eats. His doctor’s orders are to:
Eat more healthy foods
Stop eating crap
and to laid off the meat a bit
I went a health food store got a brunch of tofu, veggies and fruit.I made this healthy meal for him. Went he got home from work and saw the “rabbit food” and wanted beef instead. It cause this huge fight and I got so piss (our fights can get really nasty) and stayed at a friend’s house. Any ideas?
Very similar to an alcoholic. He doesn’t think he has a problem – no matter what the doctor says. He knows more than the doctor does. No matter how much you try or nag or beg – it won’t do any good until HE makes a commitment to HIMSELF to make improvements in his life. I doubt that he needs to go on a diet – just change his eating habits. Dump the junk food & eat plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables. No smoking, no booze, no drugs. Drink plenty of water & fat free milk to help keep the traffic flowing. Meats need to be baked – broiled or boiled – NEVER fried. Snack on celelry sticks, carrot sticks, grapes, banana’s, plums, peaches, pears, apples, oranges, grapefruit, cantaloupe or honeydew melon. He needs to get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk – then – do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. Within 90 days, you won’t believe the health changes forthcoming. But – if he’s not willingl to make that commitment – it aint gonna happen!
